He starts in Icirrus City. Serial-killery antics are largely ignored.
21:26 <LordCoffee>: Ready when you are.
21:27 <RefMankey>: Ain't easy to work two sessions at once. xD
21:27 <LordCoffee>: Yeah I can wait.
21:28 <LordCoffee>: After all I have the Suchanut sitcom to keep my entertained.
21:28 <LordCoffee>: me*
21:33 <RefMankey>: Icirrus City: a land of opportunity. Beyond the distinctive fragrance of the marshes, a quashed scent of wilderness, the inner city wasn't exactly well-held together. Buildings were small and built around enormous ditches and jean-blue puddles. A light fog about the lakes made clear vision implausible - at least with the naked eye.
21:35 <RefMankey>: A lone shop was nearby, offering strange Pokeballs and delicacies. Residential areas, crafted of a thick mud and swamp wood, were meticulously managed by their denizens. Those that weren't fell into a state of disrepair. One of them even seemed to /ebb/, it having fallen into a bog.
21:44 <LordCoffee>: "Alright." said Shane, glancing at his surroundings: "It's time to abandon this town for the real shots." he said, glancing at his camera "...after the bumps in the road that is..."
21:46 <LordCoffee>: *Shane puts his camera in his briefcase and goes to the nearby shop, saying to himself: "It should be a long journey, might as well pack up for the road."
21:50 <RefMankey>: Shane had many an opportunity to leave Icirrus - Route 8 and Twist Mountain among them - but he was wise to pack his bags first. The log storehouse he visited wasn't exactly pretty, door swaying in the wind and all. Jarring, green Comic Sans read: "Mike's Odds and Ends." Apparently, it was hiring.
21:51 <RefMankey>: Just in front of the door, one could find a crumpled wad of white paper.
21:53 <LordCoffee>: *Shane picks up the paper, thinking "I'm leaving this city for a reason, maybe I should try and help it out before I leave."
21:54 <LordCoffee>: Shane decides to read the paper before throwing it away, curiosity getting the best of him at the moment
21:57 <RefMankey>: Through faded text, Shane could decipher a small message. "YOU ARE WELCOME GOOD BYE"
21:59 <LordCoffee>: Shane shakes his head and says: "Receipts these days..." and throws away the piece of paper in the nearest trash can/bin.
22:00 <LordCoffee>: Shane then goes back to entering the shop for his supplies.
21:33 <LordCoffee>: Shane approaches the door to the shop, and casually opens it.
21:33 <RefMankey>: *CREAK!* He opened the door.
21:34 <LordCoffee>: Shane proceeds to step inside to examine the shops surroundings.
21:35 <RefMankey>: Mike's Odds and Ends was nothing but a place of strange odds and ends. The order of the graying swamp-wood this store was made from was defied by the nature of the goods it provided. Behind a counter, an assortment of Pokeballs, snacks, and knick-knacks were available. Strange thing is, all the goods were /behind/ the counter.
21:37 <LordCoffee>: Shane approached the clerk and asked: Excuse me, may I buy some snacks? I'll need some food before I hit the road.
21:37 <RefMankey>: "...hey." With parted, black hair, a swamp-smelling man ruled the store. Beady eyes kept a close watch on the photographer, innocent or otherwise. His unbuttoned, pink sportcoat looked anything but professional. Behind Shane was a list of items which were available for purchase.
21:40 <RefMankey>: "...snacks? They're all ten Pokedollars a pop." This, "Mike" chose to go back and offer his two types of edible wares: taffy and jerky. "We've the whole color spectrum of taffy, but a regular and spicy jerky. We sell by the eighth-pound."
21:40 <RefMankey>: Mike didn't seem disingenuous in his offer.
21:42 <LordCoffee>: Shane replied: "In that case, I'll take 3 packs of jerky and 1 pack of taffy." he said, putting 40 Pokedollars on the counter.
21:46 <RefMankey>: "Alright," Mike said, "what kind? Or does it matter?" The strange man had assurances to make.
21:47 <LordCoffee>: Shane replied to Mike "Hmm, 2 regulars, 1 spicy, and a green piece of taffy should do it."
21:51 <RefMankey>: "Alright," Mike assured Shane. It took almost a minute to get the material together, but it took solid work to prepare. The man delivered in bricks - Shane ordered almost a half-pound of material. "Well, here you are. Thanks." The man nodded before taking Shane's money and leaving. Unlike Shane, his legs were bound to the capricious economy.
21:52 <RefMankey>: {Got: Green Taffy, 1/8 lb, x1. A sticky taffy Heals 1HP on use, but benefits only stack once per day.]
21:53 <RefMankey>: {Got: Strange Jerky, Normal, 1/8 lb, x2. A brick of regular jerky. No one knows where it comes from. It heals 4hp per use, but its a lot of jerky...
21:54 <RefMankey>: {Got: Strange Jerky, Spicy, 1/8 lb, x1. A brick of spicy jerky. No one knows where it comes from, but it's /hot/. It heals 4hp per use, but its a lot of jerky. In addition, Fire-types seem to have an affinity for this stuff...}
