Ok so I just have a couple questions I would like to ask. 1. If there are more then one evolutions for a pokemon then do you go through 10 exp more then once? 2. If you don't evolve your pokmeon, can he evolve later on? 3. What are the benefits of evolving? Why not just take the extra HP? 4. If I chose a baby pokemon, wouldn't that pokemon be worse because it has less HP? Thank you and I'm sorry f I sound like a noob.

It's fine XD
1. Ok, so basically here's a chart on the EXP rates: Baby: 8 EXP Basic: 10 EXP First Evo: 15 EXP Second Evo: 20 EXP
when you evolve the current EXP number becomes 0 again and resets.
2. Yes your pokemon can evolve later if you so choose 3. The benefit of evolving can link to moves that can be obtained only by it's evolved state. Some baby or basic pokemon have a really limited movepool ( as well as the other way around ). Plus, when an evolved pokemon has a higher max HP than their pre-evolution:
Ex: ( Basic pokemon have 55 HP when maxed out on exp, where as a Second Evo has 65 HP when maxed out on exp )
4. Not necessarily, less hp doesn't mean you'll lose quicker. It just means you have to be more cautious about when to attempt attacks and dodging.
