Hey guys, I know everyone hates commands... but I think a few more can add a whole new dynamic to our system. It's not even the fact that they are difficult to manage, but it makes battles and adventures a lot more interesting... check them out and see what you think!
Rotate: Switches positions of the player's pokemon. ( Debating about this because we already just type our targets... )
Pikachu: 20/20 HP, Mudkip: 20/20 HP { VS } Starmie: 45/45 HP
Player: Rotate!!
Mudkip: 20/20 HP, Pikachu: 20/20 HP { VS } Starmie: 45/45 HP
Go Around: Allows for the user's pokemon to switch opposing positions during battle. This will make collisions differ
Pikachu: 20/20 HP, Mudkip: 20/20 HP { VS } Starmie: 45/45 HP
Player: Go Around it Pikachu!!
Referee: Pikachu goes behind Starmie...
Mudkip: 20/20 HP { VS } Starmie: 45/45 HP, Pikachu: 20/20 HP
Player: Go Around it again Pikachu!!
Referee: Pikachu goes behind Starmie...
Mudkip: 20/20 HP, Pikachu: 20/20 HP { VS } Starmie: 45/45 HP
Guard: Allows for the trainer or pokemon to defend something other than themselves while halving the damage.
Referee: Hypno used psybeam at Trainer A...
Trainer B: "I'll save you!!" *Guard*
Referee: Trainer B guards Trainer A!! **Defends**
Back Away: Increases chances of dodging until the user attacks by 10%
One thought would be to change collisions to where 0-49 would go towards the left's favor, 50 would mean they both hurt each other, and 51-100 would mean the right would overcome.
Accuracy and Evasion: Instead of the hit, miss, hit, miss stuff happening, we will instead decrease or increase the dodging rates by 3%. So for example...
Referee: Serperior used Coil!
Serperior: 65/65 HP { +1 atk/def/acc. } { VS } Pikachu: 20/20 HP
Trainer: "Serperior use giga drain!"
Referee: Pikachu attempted to dodge...
**rolls 47**
